Fast Footwork Training is designed to improve an individual player's comfort level with the ball. This additional training will help players develop confidence as they are introduced to various foot skills, using them in various drills and small sided games. Training is conducted in a low pressure environment, thus allowing players to succeed and gain confidence. Players are encouraged to be more creative with the ball in 1v1 play, which allows them to get more touches on the ball. Repetition is the key to mastery; the more players practice as individuals, the more comfortable they become using whay they have learned against other players during game play.
TCSA offers Fast Footwork Clinics in the fall and spring to those players looking to improve their ball handling skills. This is a great opportunity for our recreational players to work with professional and classic travel trainers.
