Hand in Hand is a program for our youngest participants that serves approximately 100 preschool aged participants under 5 years old and meets weekly for 7 sessions on Saturdays to have fun with friends and family within a very structured soccer environment. The objective of the program is to provide young players and their parents with a “pressure-free” introduction to the game of soccer that requires little or no practice and minimal time commitment. Sessions are 45 minutes long and parents are encouraged to cheer their kids on. The program is lead by TCSA's professional coaching staff.
FALL 2017 SESSION
Parents and Players,
Fall 2017 season starts Saturday September 9th and runs through Saturday October 21st. I am finalizing the rosters – we have had quite a few players register the last few days and want to make sure to get everyone placed as well as make sure to get all of the placement requests fulfilled. We will meet at our main fields James O. Breen Park on Field #11 (This is directly west the office/concession stand building near the parking lot). For inclement weather we will be moving sessions to the TCSA indoor facility. An email will go out by 7:30am the morning of.
Picture day will be Saturday October 7th at the TCSA indoor facility - at 8:30am. Please make sure to be at the indoor faciliity at 8:15am with their soccer uniform on.
As a reminder, all players will receive a team shirt, soccer socks, and a size 3 soccer ball – please bring the ball to each session and please do not write your child’s name on the ball until after the last session. At this age players tend to only want to use their own ball when their name is on it. If you get a ball that is damaged please let us know and we will replace it. All players will be required to wear shin guards in order to participate. Players can wear soccer cleats or athletic shoes (NO baseball cleats or football cleats due to the cleat at the toe in the front). Please have players wear soccer socks over their shin guards. Players should not wear any jewelry or baseball hats.
